About CMII:
CMII is a methodology that enables an organization to accommodate change and keep requirements clear, consise and valid. With this capability, quality is a byproduct and projects are routinely achieved on time and within budget. Without this capability, there is no choice but to operate in a corrective action mode.
About the 1st Edition:
The first edition, published in 2002, provided an overview of the CMII model, its application and potential benefits. It described the corrective action mode and quantified the resources being wasted on intervention. It provided a roadmap for driving intervention resources to zero and ramping up the rate of real improvements.
About this 2nd Edition:
Over 4 years later, some well known firms have failed and others are struggling to survive. Many industrial firms, government agencies and educational institutions are not healthy. They are part of the crowd that simply does not get it. This 2nd edition is a wake-up call. It is time to get lean and mean. CMII is the how-to.
