CMII Compliant Tools
The CMII model had reached a high level of maturity when assessments of enabling software tools were initiated in 2000. The assessments involved most of the hardware-oriented Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools and a few software-oriented Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools. The critera for assessing PLM tools is explained in Courses CMII-01, -02, -03 and -04 and summarized in CMII-500B. The criteria for assessing ALM tools is explained in CMII-13 and summarized in CMII-600A.
