1970's - reengineered the CM process

1981 - began teaching the new principles
1982 - expanded the courseware
1984 - Formed ICM

1988 - renamed CM process as CMII

1996 - 1000th CMII certification
1997 - 1st aerospace firm adopted CMII
1998 - 1st automotive firm adopted CMII
1998 - 1st telecom. firm adopted CMII
1998 - Courses translated into German
1999 - 2500th CMII certification

2000 - 1st tool certified as CMII-compliant
2000 - new ICM/CMII logo with two columns
2001 - 1st software developer adopted CMII
2001 - 3500th CMII certification

2004 - Courses initiated in South Africa
2005 - CMII grads in 30+ countries
