CMII Professional (CMIIP)
CMII grads may place the CMIIC designation after their names once they complete CMII certification. CMII grads may also apply for the CMII Professional (CMIIP) certification. As of May 1, 2009, there is a new option for obtaining CMIIP certification.
CMIIP Certification Process and Options
1. Submit request for CMIIP certification by downloading and completing the CMII application form.
2. Achieve CMII certification or complete Course IX in the past 3 years.
3. Attend an annual CMII conference in the past 3 years.
OPTION ONE
4. Publish or present a paper on a CMI-related topic in past 3 years.
5. Complete a CM process assessment per the guidelines below.
OPTION TWO (effective May 1, 2009)
4. Complete Course VII (Rev E or later)
5. Complete Course VIII (Rev K or later)
CM Process Assessment Guide
The 24-page supplement to Course VI, CM Process Assessment Guide (revision P), describes how to conduct an assessment and prepare a report.
Requirements for Retaining CMIIP Certification
- Must repeat Course IX every 3 years.
- Must attend a CMII conference at least once every 3 years.
- Must present or publish a CM-related paper at least once every 3 years.
